The book describes how Edward Hart, a member of the Congregatonal Church, went to Canada to receive a charter for a Boy Scout troop before Boy Scouts of America was organized in 1910. However, we now know that there was a Boys' Brigade group at the church from 1908 to 1910 that was a different entity from the Boy Scout troop that was chartered in 1910.
